Manhood Community College have asked for anyone who would be willing to give a talk to Year 10s or 11s for a 10-15 minute slot about what it is that they do or how they got into their jobs. This is really useful to give students an insight into the world of work and what they might want do.

Manhood Community College are arranging their own Enterprise Day and they need 2 volunteers to act as judges on the day.

Interview Techniques Workshop
Monday 18th January, 10.30am-12.45pm
10 volunteers needed
We will be working with 250 Year 11 students (aged 15-16). Students will learn about how to prepare for an interview and the ‘do’s’ and ‘don’ts’ during interviews; think about examples to demonstrate their skills and attributes and complete a final activity of a mock interview.
Midhurst Rother College, Midhurst
The Music Business Enterprise Day
Friday 12th March, 8.30am-14.50pm
6 volunteers needed
We will be working with 180 Year 10 students (aged 14-15). The students will be tasked with setting up their own music business. Each student will be given a role within the company: finance; marketing; premises; products; and staffing. These students will make appointments to see business volunteers to get advice about their specific area they are working on. Then at the end of the day they will help judge the best team.
