The World of Business
at Bishop Luffa School

Our Young Enterprise students were delighted to have some guest speakers in school on Monday afternoon. The aim of the session was for our Sixth Form students to have a better understanding of the world of business; in particular the start up process.
Students from the school have been taking part in the Young Enterprise scheme for over 10 years and this year we shall have more than 40 students participating in this business experience. During the year students have to set up a business and experience profit and loss in a real company.
The guest speakers for the afternoon were Rob Shaw, Jack Wills’ owner, an ex-student, who shared his experience with the students in setting up a business; John Bugeja from Rolls Royce who gave the students a presentation about “Excellence in Business” and Steve Wilson from Wilson Design Associates who gave our students an interesting insight on “Branding in a company”.
