Food Technology Teachers Work With Waitrose

A small group of Food Technology teachers had the opportunity to get together to take part in the ‘Food for thought’ challenge run by Waitrose

Teachers had to work in teams to run an enterprise challenge based around Strawberry Ice Cream! Working in their groups they were given a team brief and had to act out various roles to get through the challenge…including a testing session.

By the end of the day the teachers taking part had gained new skills and knowledge that they could take back to school. Each school was issued with a ‘Food for Thought’ enterprise challenge to take back to school to use with their current students as part of their delivery for enterprise education.
